“Gifts are granted

And the chances

To take leaps of faith

Only come

when we are ready.

The the road

I thought I would never take

Laid its path before me,

And in a moment of truth

I said yes.

But this beauty

That you have given me

Still holds on in my chest

And your rolling hills still remind me of where I come from.

I will always remember you

like this - soft, green and golden,

full of purple-grey mist,

With roads that wind on and on

Into the distance -

beautiful pathways

Filled with tall grasses

and soft breezes

granting me

one more leap of faith.”
