I grew the first true bloom of my heart -
Soft as silk,
fragile as the wings of an angel
But unbreakable in its beauty
Because only those who know
the strength of their own softness
can hold the sword of joy.
Only when we have faced ourselves in the darkness
Can we truly wield the power of our sweetest light.”
