Where They Meet | 12 x 12
Where They Meet | 12 x 12
From the Dreamscapes Collection by Camille Selhorst, an exploration of place, beauty and finding our way through the landscapes of the heart and mind by connecting more intimately with the natural world.
POEM
“Sometimes I go
Where ocean meets clouds
And speak aloud
My questions
Into the vastness.
And the sea spray laughs
And calls me -
like a mother to her child -
Happily beckoning me back
into presence.
And as
the wildness of the waves
Pulls me in
I begin
to surrender
To a joy
so simple
I forgot it was there.
And the tears spill out
like salt spray
As my heart opens
Like a prayer
to that sweet space
Where they meet -
The ocean and the sky -
Touching gently,
like a faraway kiss
One soft horizon line
In the vast beckoning beauty
Of my soul’s expanse.”
